PROCESS ENGINEER
We are looking for an experienced Process Engineer able to improve industrial processes to maintain efficiency, reduce cost, improve sustainability and maximize profitability. It also requires a sound theoretical/practical knowledge of oil/gas production technology, presentation skills and expertise in process design/optimization, project management and an effective client relationship.
Responsibilities
• Design and installation of mechanical, oil & gas production and process engineering equipment
• Preparation of data sheets and technical specifications.
•Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions
• Participate in engineering design and safety reviews
• Monitoring compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
• Ensure timely completion of projects and contribute to overall company profitability
• Conduct site visits, prepare and submit reports to management and clients
• Preparing and delivering pitches and presentations to potential new clients
• Researching and identifying opportunities that come up in new and existing markets
• Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field
• Provide input to preparation of tenders and Cost Time Resource (CTR) estimates for proposals
• Liaise with other departments, clients, vendors, subcontractors, and approving authorities on projects.
• Participate in internal and external meetings.
• Participate in engineering design and safety reviews.
• Perform any other duty that may be assigned by Supervisor/Line Managers.
Qualifications
• A Bachelor’s degree (minimum upper credit) or it's equivalent in any of the following fields of engineering - chemical or mechanical or related field. A Master’s degree will be an added advantage
• Age requirement: 35years max
• 3 - 5 years demonstrable working experience
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 is an added advantage
• Excellent written and oral skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Initiative and creativity
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools, CAD, P&ID design, HYSYS, and PV Elite
• Highly motivated and have ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Team player with excellent personnel management skills.
• Proven work experience in process engineering
